Chief Marketing & Communications Officer

Katie Griff is the Chief Marketing & Communications Officer at DEFCON AI and its parent company, Red Cell Partners. Ms. Griff is also the Head of Marketing at Zephyr AI. She joined Red Cell from her position as the founder and CEO of Griff Consulting, a boutique marketing consultancy that develops and implements cross-channel marketing programs for growth focused retail and e-commerce brands.

Ms. Griff is an experienced strategic leader, building some of today’s leading brands, developing business strategy, creating new product lines, sourcing investment opportunities, negotiating deal terms, as well as recruiting and managing others.

Prior to founding Griff Consulting, Ms. Griff was the Head of Marketing at HATCH Collection, the Director of Brand and Strategic Marketing at Madewell / J. Crew Group, and has held various strategy and marketing roles at organizations across market caps including Gilt, Moda Operandi, Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy, and Calypso St. Barth.

Ms. Griff spent her early career as an analyst and associate on the investment team in the Hedge Fund Group at Blackstone. She has an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BA from Duke University.
